Calumet Harbor, IL – Joshua Hebeisen
Compass Minerals received another shipment of salt from Goderich, ON, over the weekend, delivered courtesy of Algoma Intrepid early Saturday afternoon. The sodium-chloride-carrying craft entered the river just after 14:00 and backed a short ways down to the dock, her bow-mounted boom swinging off to port to unload throughout the night. She would depart at 02:48 Sunday morning en route to the Goderich mines.

Cheboygan, MI – Joshua Hebeisen
USCGC Mackinaw returned home at 13:47 after conducting two days of ice operations in the Straits of Mackinac.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Intrepid arrived at 07:43 Sunday, loading at Compass Minerals. Algoma Innovator is due next.

Port Huron, MI – Sarnia, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
Arriving Imperial Oil around 09:00 on a return trip from the Soo, Algocanada would once again be headed north for the St. Marys River following a 23:16 departure. The tanker figures to unload petroleum products at Purvis Marine as she did just several days prior. Iver Bright remains downriver at Suncor; it is currently unknown when she will receive her next orders. 

Amherstburg, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
CCGS Griffon departed the Canadian Coast Guard Amherstburg Base at 22:38 heading upbound for the St. Clair River. Her final destination is currently unknown, but a stop in Sarnia, ON, is a good bet.
