Two Sarter tugs broke the ice around berth 2-3 Friday and moved the Joyce L VanEnkevort out and over to berth 14. Looks like drydock time is coming.

Cheboygan: Friday; 8:17 The tug Manitou departed her berth and began ice operations in the Cheboygan River. She stopped at 10:30 off of the Fourteen Foot Shoal Light. 10:25 USCG Mackinaw departed the Cheboygan River and sailed past the Fourteen Foot Shoal Light for what was probably mechanical testing. 14:45 The tug Manitou returned to Cheboygan. 16:43 USCG Mackinaw returned to the US Coast Guard Cheboygan moorings.
