The Sarter Tugs Jimmy L, Donald J. Sarter and William C Gaynor were working Sunday breaking ice around Bay Ship. The Jimmy L towedthe Joyce L VanEnkevort into the large graving dock. Herbert C Jackson was also being moved.

Algoma Sault departed South Chicago, February 27, for Goderich with the assistance of G-tugs Nebraska and Tennessee.
Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Algonova and Algonorth arrived from Sarnia and went to anchor off of Port Dover. Both tankers proceeded to Imperial Oil later in the evening.
