Joseph L. Block departed Two Harbors on 01/09 at 08:57 for Indiana Harbor. Arriving Two Harbors on 01/09 at 09:50 was the Edgar B. Speer after being anchored off Duluth. Anchored off Duluth on 01/09 is the John J. Boland that is waiting on the Two Harbors dock. Anchored above the Soo Locks on 01/09 is the H Lee. White that is heading for Two Harbors.
Thunder Bay, ON
Sunday: CCGS Samuel Risley resumed ice operations. 6:43 Algoma Equinox arrived at the Midcontinent Terminal from Superior. Whitefish Bay left her berth at Keefer Terminal and shifted to Viterra A to load grain. 12:14 CCGS Samuel Risley returned to the coast guard base. 18:54 Whitefish Bay departed for Midland.
Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix: Saturday; 19:21 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Conquest departed for Chicago and went to anchor at 23:03 in Suttons Bay for weather.
With the wind shifting from the south to the west and seas calming, John G Munson departed Sunday at 4:20 for Gary. 5:22 Arthur M Anderson departed for Gary. 8:02 Michipicoten departed for Burns Harbor.
Northern Lake Huron
McGregor Bay: Saturday; 20:17 John D Leitch went to anchor off Wikwemikong on the NE side of Manitoulin Island for weather.
Alpena: Saturday; 21:00 Samuel De Champlain / Innovation departed for Milwaukee. 5:28 Great Republic weighed anchor and departed for Conneault
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Sault cleared 11.57 Sunday upbound for Duluth with salt. Algoma Intrepid expected next.
Lake Erie Ports for Sunday – Bill Kloss
Monroe: Karen Andrie/Endeavor departed at 09:00 for Indiana Harbor.
Sandusky: Robert S. Pierson loaded coal and departed for Sault Ste. Marie at 12:28. CSL Niagara moved up to load at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland: Lee A. Tregurtha arrived at 04:28 to unload ore at the Bulk Terminal. Once empty she departed at 13:39 for Superior.
Conneaut: Defiance/Ashtabula departed late Saturday night for Brevort.
Nanticoke: Algonorth arrived at 07:22 and went to anchor. Algoma Hansa is also at anchor.
