Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Arthur M. Anderson departed at 07:18 (CST) Friday morning with iron ore pellets for Conneaut. As of Friday night, only the layed-up James R. Barker was in port at Port Terminal. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected Saturday late afternoon for winter lay-up at either Port Terminal or SMET.
Superior Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report. Winter Lay-up boats Lee A. Tregurtha (at Fraser Shipyards) and Burns Harbor (at Elevator M) are the only vessels in port on the Superior side. The last vessel arrival for the season, American Century, is expected sometime Sunday.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader departed Two Harbors on 01/14 at 09:05 for Conneaut. The Indiana Harbor arrived Two Harbors on 01/14 at 10:55. She will be the last boat of the season for Two Harbors.
Thunder Bay, ON
Thursday; 23:14 Robert S Pierson departed for Owen Sound. Friday; 5:20 Manitoulin arrived at the Superior Elevator and will be the last boat to load grain in Thunder Bay this season. 6:21 CCGS Samuel Risely returned to the coast guard station.
Northern Lake Huron
McGregor Bay: Thursday; CCGS Griffon arrived to conduct ice operations, Friday; 8:47 Algoma Sault arrived at Fisher Harbour.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Nagara cleared at 00:52 early morning Friday upbound with salt. John D Leitch is expected next.
Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Cleveland: Herbert C. Jackson finished the shuttles and departed for Burns Harbor at 02:37. American Integrity unloaded at the Bulk Terminal and left for Toledo at 04:13.
Conneaut: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson unloaded and left at 00:30 and headed to lay up in Toledo.
Erie: Saginaw arrived for lay up at 06:00.
Nanticoke: Algonova departed for Sarnia at 13:12 and Algoma Hansa arrived from Sarnia at 13:18. She anchored off of Port Dover. Algocanada pulled up anchor and went to Imperial Oil at 13:30. CSL Assiniboine arrived from Duluth at 19:09 to unload at Stelco.
