Lake Huron: Saturday; With a southwest gale blowing on Lake Huron, Algoma Intrepid and Algoma Sault both for Goderich have gone to anchor along the western shore north of Port Sanilac. 11:07 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Challenger went to anchor in Hammond Bay.

Straits of Mackinac: Saturday 4:27 CSL Assiniboine for Windsor stopped in Lake Michigan to await escort. 8:14 CCGS Griffon arrived off of Mackinac Island and escorted Algoma Niagara to open water in Lake Michigan. The Griffon escorted CSL Assiniboine to Lake Huron. 9:43 USCG Katmai Bay weighed anchor and proceeded to St Ignace arriving there at 10:05. CCGS Griffon resumed ice operations. 16:40 USCG Katmai Bay departed for Green Bay.

Saturday; 7:24 Algo Nova departed for Sarnia. 10:06 Algo Canada arrived at the US Oil Co Fox River Terminal. They were both assisted through the ice by the G tugs Washington and Texas.
