Duluth-Superior Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report. As of Sunday night, Defiance and Ashtabula were still anchored outside Duluth waiting to load in Two Harbors; Indiana Harbor was also anchored outside Duluth, but to load low sulfur coal at SMET. James R. Barker still has an unknown departure time due to a delay at the dock; Indiana Harbor should arrive once they depart. Arthur M. Anderson and John G. Munson are expected Monday night to load iron ore pellets at CN#6.
Superior Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report. As of Sunday night, CSL Tadoussac was still loading at BNSF while James R. Barker was loading at SMET. Manitoulin and American Mariner were anchored off Superior waiting for BNSF. CSL Tadoussac has an unknown departure time, but the Manitoulin should arrive once they depart. Michipicoten is expected Monday morning to join the line-up for BNSF. Whitefish Bay should join the line-up Monday early-afternoon, and Lee A. Tregurtha should join the line-up Monday night. 

Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
As of 18:30 on 01/02 the Walter J. McCarthy Jr. was still at the Two Harbors dock. Her AIS is showing Indiana Harbor. Due Two Harbors on 01/03 are the Edwin H. Gott that as of 18:30 on 01/02 is East of Eagle Harbor. Also due Two Harbor is the John G. Munson that as of 18:30 on 01/02 is upbound in Whitefish Bay. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the departure of the Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader at 13:29 for Toledo. When the Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader departed Silver Bay she didn’t have an updated AIS. She is also heading for Toledo. Upbound in the St. Mary’s River on 01/02 at 18:30 is the Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader for Silver Bay. She should arrive late on 01/03 or early on 01/04. On 01/02 the Defiance/Ashtabula is still anchored off Duluth waiting on the Two Harbors dock. On 01/02 the Great Republic is anchored off Bark Pt. near Cornucopia, WI also awaiting the Two Harbors dock.

Thunder Bay, ON 
Sunday; 11:11 USCG Biscayne Bay arrived to conduct ice operations and departed at 15:45  for Duluth Superior. 17:20  Beverly MI / Glovertown Spirit arrived at Keefer Terminal to unload generators. 19:35 Capt. Henry Jackman arrived at the Richardson Main Terminal to load grain.

St. Marys River – Roger LeLievre
Given the time of year, Sunday was an unusually busy day at the Soo Locks. Upbound traffic included Harvest Spirit, Florence Spirit, Herbert C Jackson, Whitefish Bay, Arthur M. Anderson, John G Munson, Lee A. Tregurtha, Anglian Lady/barge and Burns Harbor. Downbound traffic included Kaye E. Barker, Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin, Paul R. Tregurtha, Stewart J. Cort and Mesabi Miner. As the day came to a close, Laura L. VanEnkevort and Dirk S. VanEnkevort, with their respective barges were, upbound in the lower river. Ice is now forming along the shore and in more sheltered areas.

Northern Lake Michigan 
Charlevoix: Sunday; 5:24 Prentiss Brown / St Marys Challenger arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products and departed at 16:35 for Chicago.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Sault and Algoma Buffalo were stored along the North wall in the basin. Algoma Innovator was loading at Compass Minerals.

Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Monroe:  American Integrity arrived at 17:16 to unload at DTE.
Kingsville:  G.L. Ostrander/Integrity is anchored off of Kingsville.
Sandusky:  CSL Niagara departed at 10:47. Algoma Transport is loading and at anchor are Saginaw, John J. Boland and H. Lee White.
Cleveland:  McKeil Spirit departed for Picton late Saturday night. American Courage is running shuttles.
Ashtabula:  Algoma Intrepid arrived at 19:10.
Conneaut:  Olive L. Moore/Menominee is at the P&C dock.
Nanticoke:  Algonorth left for Sarnia at 13:15.
