Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Paul R. Tregurtha arrived at 02:09 (CST) to first fuel then load coal at SMET; she departed at 17:10 with coal for St. Clair and Monroe. As of Thursday evening, Mesabi Miner was still loading at CN#6; her departure estimate is unknown. Presque Isle is expected Thursday night to fuel and load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Indiana Harbor is expected early Friday afternoon to also load iron ore pellets at CN#6; she may anchor outside Duluth depending on the Presque Isle’s loading status. American Mariner is estimated to depart early Friday afternoon with wheat for Buffalo.
Superior Entry: Frontenac departed at 02:32 (CST) Thursday morning with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. Atlantic Huron arrived from anchor at 02:47 to load at BNSF; she departed at 14:02 with iron ore pellets for Quebec City. Algoma Guardian arrived from anchor at 14:25 to load at BNSF. Samuel de Champlain departed at 15:01 empty for Alpena. As of Thursday evening, American Mariner was loading at General Mills and Algoma Guardian was loading at BNSF. Stewart J. Cort is expected late Thursday night to load at BNSF; she will most likely anchor waiting to load after Algoma Guardian. Algoma Guardian is estimated to depart early Friday with iron ore pellets.

Edwin H. Gott departed Two Harbors on 07/15 at 03:15 for Nanticoke. Clyde S. VanEnkevort is still loading in Silver Bay.

Tuesday; 18:29 Kaministiqua departed for Port Cartier. Wednesday; 2:04 Tim S Dool arrived at the G3 elevator to load grain. 19:12 Algoma Innovator arrived at Thunder Bay Terminals to load potash. 22:51 Helena G departed for an overseas port. Thursday; 0:51 Tim S Dool departed for Quebec City. 3:49 Algoma Innovator departed for Oshawa. 11:55 Marietje Andrea weighed anchor and proceeded to Thunder Bay Terminal to load. 12:42 Rt Hon Paul J Martin arrived at the MobilEx Valley Camp dock to unload road salt.

Federal Ruhr remained at Burns Harbor Thursday. American Integrity was at Indiana Harbor.

Parry Sound: Thursday; 2:40 Cuyahoga arrived to unload road salt and departed at 10:10.
Spragge: Wednesday; 22:13 Saginaw departed for Bruce Mines.
Bruce Mines: Thursday; 2:53 Saginaw arrived to load trap rock and departed at 13:06.
Drummond Island: Thursday; Wilfred Sykes arrived to load limestone and after taking on a part load departed for Port Inland.
Port Dolomite: Wednesday; 20:59 Lee A Tregurtha departed for Fairport. Herbert C Jackson proceeded to the dock to load and departed Thursday at 8:33 for a Lake Michigan port. 11:26 Manitoulin arrived to load limestone. 17:31 Defiance / Ashtabula arrived and went to anchor.
Calcite: Thursday; 13:11 Great Republic arrived to load limestone.
Stoneport: Thursday; 16:21 Olive L Moore / Menominee arrived to load limestone.
Alpena: Thursday; 11:48 GL Ostrander departed for Detroit.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas.
Algoma Intrepid cleared 5.07 am Thursday upbound for Chicago with salt.  Algoma Sault is expected next.

Detroit, MI – Capt. Mike Nicholls
Calumet was loading salt at the old Morton Salt dock at the Fort Street bridge in the Rouge River Thursday. The salt was trucked from the Detroit Salt mine. Calumet is the first vessel to load at this “new” loading dock.

Lake Erie Ports for Thursday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead:  John J. Boland arrived from Detroit at 12:03.
Sandusky:  CSL Niagara departed at 10:36 for Hamilton.
Cleveland:  Algoma Buffalo left at 05:17 with another load of salt for Thorold. Sea Eagle II/St.Marys Cement II arrived at 06:04 to unload at St. Mary’s Cement Jefferson St. terminal. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived at 15:39. American Spirit arrived at the Bulk Terminal late Thursday night.

Fairport Harbor:  CSL Tadoussac departed at 13:29.
Ashtabula:  CSL Welland arrived at the Pinney dack at 08:31.|
Erie:  Victory/ Maumee departed Wednesday night for Toledo.
Nanticoke:  Algonova left at 10:16 for Sarnia. Algosea arrived at 14:47 and went to anchor off of Port Dover.
