Thunder Bay, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
Federal Nakagawa cleared for St. Johns, NL, at 12:39 after loading at Thunder Bay Terminals. Thunder Bay (the ship) departed Thunder Bay (the port) at 17:56 with grain from Viterra A, and Lubie followed her out an hour later from Richardson Main. The two evening departures were bound for Bécancour, QC, and Montreal, QC, respectively.
The three departures on the day leave Blacky alone in port at Keefer Terminal and Osogovo flying solo in the anchorage.
Marquette, MI – Noah H.
The shipping traffic at Marquette started very early on Monday, with a 01:03 departure by Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader. The duo is on their way to Cleveland next. A few hours later, at 06:20, thousand foot giant American Spirit backed into the dock to begin the arduous process of loading ore. This is their sixth such visit this year. Up next will be the Lee A. Tregurtha, completing the second half of back-to-back Marquette trips.
St. Joseph, MI – Michael Moran
The Manitowoc has come and gone as of Monday night. They left thousands of tons of trap rock from Ontario Trap Rock and took on donuts. As always, this material is used in paving and construction work.
Fun fact: Since this load came from Canada, it was met by Customs and Border Protection. The CBP officer, who came from Grand Rapids, checked paperwork and met with several crew during the process.

Scroll with your cursor in the box (or slide your finger within the box on a mobile device) to move through the schedule as you would a normal webpage. To move up or down the actual Port Reports page itself, make sure your cursor/finger is outside of the box.
