Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Presque Isle departed at 00:46 (CST) Saturday morning with iron ore pellets for Gary. Great Republic arrived at 14:59 to fuel and unload limestone at C.Reiss; she’s expected to shift to CN#6 for iron ore pellets once done unloading. As of Saturday night, Indiana Harbor was loading at CN#6 and Great Republic was unloading at C.Reiss Coal. American Century is expected mid-morning Sunday to load coal at SMET. Great Republic is estimated to depart late morning with iron ore pellets. Indiana Harbor is estimated to depart sometime Sunday with iron ore pellets.
Superior Entry: Stewart J. Cort departed at 03:56 (CST) Saturday morning with iron ore pellets for Burns Harbor. As of Saturday night, no vessels were in port on the Superior side. No vessel traffic is expected until Monday.

Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A Putney
Tentatively Two Harbors has no scheduled traffic until Monday. Joyce L. VanEnkevort hasn’t got an updated AIS, but she did head for Lake Huron.

Thunder Bay, ON
Thursday; 0:45 Rt Hon Paul J Martin finished unloading road salt at MobilEx and proceeded to Viterra A to load grain. 14:46 Marietje Andrea departed for Rotterdam .21:44Rt Hon Paul J Martin departed  for Becancour.

Marquette, MI – Arthur Pickering
Sunday will be a very busy day when the Michigan Trader arrives around 7 a.m. followed by the Lee Tregurtha a couple hours later. The Maumee is scheduled for a late morning arrival.  On Monday, the Hon James Oberstar is scheduled for a visit to the ore dock.

St. Marys River
Saturday’s highlight was we downbound passage, about noon, of the light-blue-painted saltie Marietje Andrea, bound for Rotterdam with grain from Thunder Bay. Other downbound traffic included H. Lee White, American Mariner and Rt Hon. Paul J. Martin. James R Barker was upbound in the evening.

Arriving from Meldrum Bay, ON, Cuyahoga entered Lake Macatawa at 10 AM 7/17/21. Boom was out at Verplank’s dock at 11:30 AM to unload stonetat Verplank’s and Brewer’s.

Meldrum Bay: Thursday; 23:55 Cuyahoga arrived to load  limestone and departed Friday at 7:23 for Holland.17:49 Laura L Van Enkevort / Joseph H Thompson arrived to load and departed Saturday at 6:00 for Marysville.18:37 Algoma Compass arrived to load limestone.
Bruce Mines: Saturday; 18:03 Saginaw arrived to load trap rock
Port Dolomite: Thursday;  Manitoulin departed for Sombra. Defiance / Ashtabula proceeded to the dock to load limestone and departed Friday at 18:20 down bound on Lake Huron.
Cheboygan: Friday 1:57 The tug Michigan / tanker barge Great Lakes arrived to unload petroleum products and departed at 13:33 for Calcite.
Calcite: Thursday; 16:31 Sam Laud departed. Friday; 2:42 Great Republic departed for Duluth Superior.  5:00 Joseph L Block arrived to load limestone and departed at 19:57 for Indiana Harbor. 19:59 the tug Michigan / tanker barge Great Lakes arrived to unload diesel fuel. 22:04 Sam Laud arrived to load limestone. Saturday; 7:09 the tug Michigan / tanker barge Great Lakes departed for Toledo. 9:20 Manitowoc arrived to load limestone. 9:20 Sam Laud departed for Detroit. 18:37 Manitowoc departed for Buffington.
Stoneport: Friday  Olive L Moore / Menominee departed for Marine City. Saturday; 3:20 American Courage arrived to load limestone and departed at 13:46 for Fairport.
Alpena: Friday; 14:12 The cement carrier Alpena arrived at the Lafarge plant to load and departed Saturday at 18:49 for Green Bay.

Lake Erie Ports for Saturday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead:  Manitoulin arrived at 18:12.
Sandusky:  Kaye E. Barker departed for Detroit at 00:12.
Cleveland:  Iryda is at dock 24W at the Port. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder is running shuttles and Sea Eagle II/St. Marys Cement II is at St. Marys Cement’s  Jefferson St. terminal.
Ashtabula: CSL Welland departed for Two Harbors at 03:06.
Conneaut:  Edgar B. Speer arrived at the P&C dock at 10:05. Arthur M. Anderson arrived at 21:44 and went to anchor.
Nanticoke:  Algosea departed for Sorel-Tracy at 11:13. Algoma Hansa arrived at 17:11 and went to anchor off of Port Dover.
