Edwin H. Gott downbound near Keweenaw for Two Harbors. Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader heading for Silver Bay after unloading in the Twin Ports. Looks like the Philip R. Clarke loads in Two Harbors after Presque Isle.
Sunday, July 2
The American Spirit is loading taconite at Two Harbors. The James R. Barker is destined for Two Harbors. The Edgar B. Speer is destined for Two Harbors.
Monday, July 3
At 17:00, James R. Barker was loading at the shiploader in Two Harbors. Due Two Harbors is the Michipicoten. As of 18:00, she is east of Keweenaw.
Tuesday, July 4
James R. Barker loaded in Two Harbors for Indiana Harbor. Michipicoton loaded in Two Harbors for Algoma Soo. Edgar B. Speer is loading in Two Harbors for Gary Works.
Wednesday, July 5
The Walter J. McCarthy is loading taconite in Two Harbors. The Clyde S. VanEnkevort is destined for Silver Bay to load taconite. The Edgar B. Speer departed Two Harbors for Gary. The CSL Laurentien is destined for Two Harbors to load taconite. The Baie Comeau is destined for Two Harbors to load taconite. The Edwin H. Gott is destined for Two Harbors to load taconite.
Thursday, July 6
Walter J. McCarthy Jr. loaded at Two Harbors for Conneaut. The Baie Comeau and CSL Lauentien were in Two Harbors to load. The Edwin H. Gott was inbound to Two Harbors to load. Outbound Silver Bay for Toledo was the tug/barge Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader. The Walter J. McCarthy Jr. loaded in Two Harbors for Conneaut.
Friday, July 7
Gott as of 18:00 was loading in Two Harbors. The Joseph L. Block as of 18:00 is loading in Silver Bay. When they load in Silver Bay, it’s usually fines for Burns Harbor. Already the CSL Laurentian and Baie Comeau have loaded in Two Harbors for Quebec City.
Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
The Royal Wagenborg ship Ebroborg arrived from Burns Harbor at 05:08 Monday, June 26, and proceeded to DeLong Company’s Agricultural Maritime Export Facility on the inner harbor. She is the first vessel to use the new facility and is loading dried distillers grains, a byproduct of ethanol production used as animal feed. Alpena arrived from Green Bay at 16:51 Wednesday, June 28, with cement for Holcim.

Algoma Compass cleared 00:50 Monday downbound for Montreal with salt. Algoma Niagara arrived 10:00 Sunday and is at the elevators.

Sandusky, OH: CSL Niagara loaded coal and left for Nanticoke, ON.
Cleveland, OH: Prentiss Brown/St. Marys Challenger delivered to the St. Marys Columbus Street terminal, then left for Charlevoix, MI. Other arrivals were NACC Argonaut going to anchor and G.L. Ostrander/Integrity with cement for Holcim. Polsteam’s Lubie departed for Burns Harbor. American Courage is on the shuttles.
Nanticoke, ON: Departing were Algoterra and Algocanada to Sarnia and Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin to Superior, WI. Algotitan is at Imperial Oil. CSL Niagara arrived with coal for Stelco.
Friday, June 30
Monroe, MI: New York/Double Skin 509A is unloading at the Port.
Kingsville, ON: Saginaw unloaded at Southwestern Sales then departed for Marblehead.
Toledo, OH: Algoma Transport departed for Hamilton, ON. Great Republic is at CSX and Algoma Sault is at Anderson’s.
Marblehead, OH: Mark W. Barker left for Cleveland and Saginaw arrived to load at Holcim. Mark W. Barker arrived from Cleveland and is anchored.
Lorain, OH: Meredith Ashton is at Carmeuse. The ship loader from Jonick, the former company that ran the dock before Carmeuse took over, is being loaded on a barge and will be going to Saginaw, MI. The tug and barge departed in the evening.
Cleveland, OH: G.L. Ostrander/Integrity departed for Essexville and NACC Argonaut took her place to unload cement at Holcim. Mark W. Barker arrived to unload stone at Osborne, then left for a return to Marblehead. Sea Eagle II/St. Marys Cement II has cement for St. Marys Jefferson St. terminal. American Courage is running the shuttles.
Fairport Harbor, OH: CSL Tadoussac is loading at Morton Salt.
Nanticoke, ON: CSL Niagara departed for Hamilton, ON. Algotitan is loading at Imperial Oil. Algoberta arrived in the evening and went on the hook.
Saturday, July 1
Monroe, MI: New York/Double Skin 509A is still unloading.
Toledo, OH: Great Republic departed to Calcite, Herbert C. Jackson is at CSX, Algoma Sault is at Anderson’s and Algoma Intrepid arrived to unload at the ARMS dock. A late evening arrival was Sharon MI/Huron Spirit with steel coils for Midwest Terminals.
Marblehead, OH: Saginaw departed for a return to Kingsville. Mark W. Barker weighed anchor and moved to the loader. Once loaded, the Barker departed for Marine City, MI.
Kingsville, ON: Saginaw delivered to Southwestern Sales then departed to Sandusky.
Sandusky, OH: Running at 14.9 knots, Manitoulin overtook Saginaw and got under the loader at Norfolk Southern first. Saginaw is berthed behind to wait her turn.
Lorain, OH: Defiance/Ashtabula unloaded a partial cargo of 13,000 tons of stone at Carmeuse then departed for Fairport Harbor to unload the remaining cargo.
Cleveland, OH: Arriving at the Bulk Terminal was the ASC footer Walter J. McCarthy Jr. to discharge UTAC pellets. She left for the Twin Ports once empty. NACC Argonaut departed for Port Daniel, PQ. Sea Eagle II/St. Marys Cement II and American Courage are in port.
Fairport Harbor, OH: Finished loading salt, CSL Tadoussac departed for Bowmanville, ON. Defiance/Ashtabula arrived from Lorain to unload her remaining stone cargo at Osborne.
Nanticoke, ON: Algotitan departed with petroleum products for Sarnia. Algoberta weighed anchor and moved to the dock at Imperial Oil.
Sunday, July 2
Monroe, MI: New York/Double Skin 509A is still unloading.
Toledo, OH: Arrivals were Clyde S. VanEnkevort to Ironville, Defiance/Ashtabula and Algoma Conveyor. Herbert C. Jackson is at CSX. Departures were Algoma Sault to Sandusky, Algoma Intrepid to Bruce Mines, Sharon MI/Huron Spirit to Detroit and Defiance/Ashtabula to Sault Ste. Marie. Victory/Maumee was a late evening arrival.
Sandusky, OH: Manitoulin departed with coal for Algoma Steel at the Soo. Saginaw moved under the loader. CSL Niagara is berthed behind Saginaw and Algoma Sault is anchored in Lake Erie. Later in the evening Saginaw left for Sault Ste. Marie and CSL Niagara went under the loader.
Cleveland, OH: Sea Eagle II/St. Marys Cement II departed to Detroit. American Courage is on the shuttles.
Fairport Harbor, OH: Defiance/Ashtabula departed for Toledo once empty.

Toledo, OH: Herbert C. Jackson is still at CSX, Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader departed to Silver Bay and Victory/Maumee left for Marquette. Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader weighed anchor and went to Ironville to unload once Clyde cleared. Leaving later in the evening was Algoma Conveyor to Goderich.
Marblehead, OH: Calumet was a late night arrival to load at Holcim.
Sandusky, OH: CSL Niagara departed with coal for Nanticoke. Algoma Sault weighed anchor and went to the dock.
Cleveland, OH: Sharon MI/Huron Spirit is at Dock 24N with steel coils to be unloaded. The tug and barge departed for Detroit. Petite Forte/St. Marys Cement arrived with cement for Holcim. Algoma Buffalo delivered stone to Shelly Materials Allied Road Products dock.
Ashtabula, OH: Calumet unloaded stone at Pinney then left for Marblehead once empty.
Erie, PA: Sam Laud arrived with stone for Carmeuse. Presque Isle is at anchor in Lake Erie.
Buffalo, NY: John J. Boland departed for Sandusky.
Nanticoke, ON: Algoberta is still at Imperial Oil. Algoma Transport left for Clarkson, ON.
Tuesday, July 4
Monroe, MI: New York/Double Skin 509A departed to Detroit.
Toledo, OH: Herbert C. Jackson is still at CSX. In the continuing parade of the VanEnkevort fleet to Ironville, Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader departed to Calcite and Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader was next to unload here.
Marblehead, OH: Calumet left with stone for Marysville. Sharon M1/Huron Spirit had a change of orders and loaded stone at Holcim. The tug and barge departed once loaded with no destination update.
Sandusky, OH: Algoma Sault left with coal for Hamilton. John J. Boland moved up under the loader.
Cleveland, OH: Off of the shuttles, American Courage left for Stoneport. Algoma Buffalo moved to Cargill to load road salt and Petite Forte/St. Marys Cement is unloading at Holcim.
Conneaut, OH: Indiana Harbor brought in ore for the P&C dock.
Erie, PA: Sam Laud unloaded at Carmeuse then departed with no destination update on her AIS. The Integrated tug and barge Presque Isle is anchored in Lake Erie.
Nanticoke, ON: Algosea departed to Imperial Oil in Sarnia. Algoberta is at Imperial Oil. CSL Niagara arrived to unload coal at Stelco.
Wednesday, July 5
Toledo, OH: Herbert C. Jackson is in dry dock at Ironhead Marine. Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader departed for Bruce Mines.
Kingsville, ON: A new visitor to unload at Southwestern Sales was Sharon M1/Huron Spirit. The barge was unloaded of her stone cargo and then departed for a return to Marblehead.
Sandusky, OH: John J. Boland loaded coal and left for Charlevoix, MI.
Cleveland, OH: A busy day at the port saw the arrival of two cruise ships as both the Pearl Mist and Viking Polaris disembarked passengers to visit the sites in Northeast Ohio. Pearl Mist is at Dock 28W and Viking Polaris is at 28N. Also arriving at the Port was the Royal Wagenborg saltie Flevogracht. She’s at Dock 22E to unload general cargo and containers. Sam Laud arrived from Erie, PA and loaded a shuttle for the Cliffs mill. Algoma Buffalo departed with salt for Osawa. Viking Polaris left for Port Colborne at 18:04 and Pearl Mist departed for Detroit at 20:08. Petite Forte/St. Marys Cement is still unloading at Holcim.
Conneaut, OH: Indiana Harbor departed for Duluth after getting empty at the P&C Dock. American Spirit was a late night arrival to unload at the P&C dock.
Erie, PA: Presque Isle is unloading at Carmeuse.
Nanticoke, ON: Algoberta is still at Imperial Oil. CSL Niagara departed to Superior, WI.
Thursday, July 6
Monroe, MI: American Courage arrived to unload limestone at DTE. After emptying out, she departed for Marblehead.
Toledo, OH: Herbert C. Jackson is drydocked at Ironhead Marine. Mesabi Miner is unloading at Torco and Wilf Seymour/Alouette Spirit is at Midwest Terminals.
Marblehead, OH: Sharon MI/Huron Spirit departed to Southwestern Sales in Windsor, ON. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived from Detroit to load stone.
Cleveland, OH: Arriving was McKeil Spirit to deliver to Lehigh Cement. In port are Flevogracht at Dock 22E and Sam Laud on the shuttles. Departing is Petite Forte/St. Marys Cement to Bath, ON.
Conneaut, OH: American Spirit is at the P&C dock.
Erie, PA: Presque Isle is unloading at Carmeuse.
Nanticoke, ON: Algoberta is still at Imperial Oil. Atlantic Huron arrived mid-morning to unload ore at Stelco. Algotitan arrived at the Port Dover anchorage.

Toledo, OH: Herbert C. Jackson is at Ironhead Marine getting repairs. Departing were Mesabi Miner to Duluth and Wilf Seymour/Alouette Spirit to Windsor. Atlantic Huron is loading coal at CSX. Saginaw was a late night arrival.
Marblehead, OH: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder left with stone for Cleveland. American Courage is at the dock. Mark W. Barker arrived from Fairport Harbor.
Sandusky, OH: Lee A. Tregurtha arrived to load coal at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland, OH: Departures were McKeil Spirit to Picton, ON and Sam Laud. Arrivals were H. Lee White with Tilden pellets to the Bulk Terminal, Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder with stone for Osborne and New York/Double Skin 509A with liquid asphalt for Marathon. Flevogracht is at the Port docks. H. Lee White departed for Toledo.
Fairport Harbor, OH: Mark W. Barker arrived from Calcite to unload stone at Osborne. She left for Marblehead once empty.
Ashtabula, OH: A late night arrival to the Pinney dock was the saltie Blacky.
Conneaut, OH: American Spirit departed light for Marquette, MI.
Erie, PA: Presque Isle tug departed with a destination of Port Weller, leaving the barge behind.
Nanticoke, ON: Departures were Algoberta to Sarnia and Atlantic Huron to Toledo. Algotitan weighed anchor and went to the dock at Imperial Oil and was joined later in the day by fleetmate Algocanada.

Monday, July 3
The John J. Boland was the first arrival for July. She arrived around midnight and went up to CSI without tugs to unload sand from Brevort. Ryba’s tug Thomas R. Morrish was working a breakwall repair job, running between the Gateway Metroport Union Ship Canal stone dock and the North Entrance.
Friday, July 7
The tug Manitou arrived with two brand-new hopper barges from Don Jon in Erie, PA. They came in the North Entrance at 06:00 and secured on the South-West side of Seaway Pier #1 on the Outer Harbor. Around 7:30, they got underway pushing both barges ahead, Mississippi River style, and went down the Black Rock Canal for Tonawanda. After arriving at the entrance to the Erie Canal at about 10:00, she handed off her barges to a small push boat of the NYS Canal Corp. Manitou then departed Buffalo for Erie around 11:30.
