Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: American Century arrived at 21:35 (CST) Tuesday night to load coal at SMET. Wilfred Sykes arrived at 01:15 Wednesday early morning to take a delay at Port Terminal; loaded with limestone, she’s expected to unload at Graymont then load sinter feed under the gravity chutes at CN. American Century departed at 10:07 with coal for St. Clair. US Coast Guard cutter Alder departed Duluth for a final time at 10:21 after serving the port for 17 years; she will eventually serve on the West Coast at San Francisco. Her replacement, cutter Spar, isn’t expected to arrive until early next year. As of Wednesday night, Wilfred Sykes was taking a delay at Port Terminal and Federal Dee was unloading at CRH. Indiana Harbor is expected Thursday mid-morning to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected early afternoon to load coal at SMET. Joseph L. Block is expected late Thursday to unload limestone at CN#6.
Superior Entry:
No vessel traffic took place Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening. As of Wednesday evening, Federal Nakagawa was loading at Gavilon. Algoma Transport is expected Wednesday night to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. CSL Laurentien is expected Thursday afternoon to also load at BNSF. Stewart J. Cort is expected Thursday evening and will most likely anchor outside the piers to wait.

Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putnry
Edgar B. Speer departed Two Harbors on  7/7 at 19:05 for Gary. Edwin H. Gott arrived Two Harbors at 20:05 on 7/7. Due Northshore Mining in Silver Bay on 7/8 is the G3 Marquis.

Thunder Bay, ON
Wednesday; 11:08 The saltie Cinnamon arrived at the Richardson Current River Terminal to load grain. 13:28 Algoma Equinox departed for Port Cartier. 14:37 Fivelborg arrived and went to anchor. 15:58 CSL St Laurent arrived at Viterra A to load wheat. 18:22 Federal St Laurent departed Thunder Bay Terminals for Montreal.

Northern Lake Michigan
Port Inland: Wednesday; Undaunted / Pere Marquette 41 arrived to load limestone and departed at 14:48 down bound for a Lake Michigan port.
Charlevoix: Wednesday; 6:11 CSL Assiniboine arrived to unload at the St Marys Cement plant and departed at 16:59 for Silver Bay.

Northern Lake Huron
Port Dolomite: Tuesday; 23:03 Joseph L Block arrived to finish loading and departed Wednesday at 11:10 for Duluth Superior. Olive L Moore / Menominee had been at anchor since 1:47 proceeded to the dock to load.
Calcite: Tuesday; 19:42 H Lee White arrived to load limestone. Wednesday 14:34 American Mariner departed for Ashtabula. 19:36 H Lee White departed for Duluth Superior.
Alpena: Wednesday; 4:16 Algoma Buffalo arrived to unload her second load of road salt this week and departed at 9:22 for Goderich.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Buffalo was approaching on Wednesday. She will be the 75th vessel this season for salt.

Lake Erie Ports for Wednesday – Bill Kloss
Monroe:  New York/Double Skin 509A arrived Tuesday night.
Kingsville:  Sam Laud arrived from Marblehead at 06:07, unloaded and left at 10:14.
Marblehead:  Sam Laud departed for Kingsville at 02:16. Manitoulin loaded coal and departed for the Soo at 07:34.
Cleveland:  Petite Forte/St. Marys was is at LaFarge. McKeil Spirit arrived at 02:35 to unload at Lehigh Cement. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder departed late Tuesday night for Duluth. Samuel deChamplain/Innovation was at anchor waiting for a spot at LaFarge. Algoma Intrepid arrived at 12:46 and went to RiverDock to unload.
Fairport Harbor:  Frontenac arrived at 16:37 to load at Morton Salt.
Ashtabula:  Robert S. Pierson arrived at 19:03 and Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader arrived at 19:13.
Nanticoke:  Algoma Hansa moved into Imperial Oil Tuesday night. Algosea remained at anchor.
