Edgar B. Speer arrived at 07:51 and departed at 18:36. Heading for Gary Works.
Manistee, MI – Chris Franckowiak
Manitowoc made her 5th visit of the year to Manistee on Wednesday the 14th. The ship delivered coal from Toledo, OH to the TES – Filer City station. She’s due back to Manistee on the 21st, with another load of coal.
Port Huron, MI – Sarnia, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
Boats on boats, and it still floats! Loaded with one of the most unusual — and exquisite — cargoes you’ll find on the Great Lakes, saltie Sedna Desgagnés arrived Sarnia at 06:09 Thursday morning. The full story began on June 4 in Port Everglades, FL, where Sedna was entrusted with the safe passage of 15 luxurious private yachts along the East Coast, through the Seaway, and up the St. Clair River. Half of her precious cargo was displayed above deck, making for some great photo opportunities, while the rest were stored below in the vessel’s holds. Sedna tied up at the Government Dock upon arrival at Sarnia and soon began playing with her expensive toys, unloading the yachts with the help of her twin deck-mounted cranes.

Toledo, OH: Departures were Algoma Transport to Hamilton, ON and Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader to Meldrum Bay. Victory/Maumee is at Torco.
Marblehead, OH: American Courage departed with stone for Cleveland.
Lorain, OH: Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader has stone for Holcim and Defiance/Ashtabula arrived to unload stone at Carmeuse.
Cleveland, OH: American Spirit delivered UTAC pellets to the Bulk Terminal. James R. Barker arrived with another delivery of UTAC pellets and anchored to wait for American Spirit to finish unloading. The Barker was followed by American Courage, delivering to the West 3rd St. stone dock. Federal Caribou’s fleetmate Federal Hudson is at Dock 26W at the Port. Caribou is at 24W. Spirit departed for Calcite and James R. Barker weighed anchor after the Spirit cleared and went to the Bulk Terminal. Petite Forte/St. Marys Cement is unloading at Holcim.
Buffalo, NY: American Mariner is at the Frontier Elevator and Eider is still at Sucro Sourcing.
Buffalo, NY – Brian Wroblewski
The salt water vessel Shoveler went into the Port Colborne Anchorage at 13:00 on the 15th waiting for the Eider to clear the dock in Lackawanna.
