Straits of Mackinac: Monday; 18:28 Algoma Sault for Goderich stopped north of Hog Island to await escort to Lake Huron. Tuesday 7:13 USCG Katmai Bay departed the lower St Marys River to escort Algoma Intrepid through the Straits of Mackinac to Lake Michigan. 13:35 After crossing the Straits of Mackinac, Algoma Intrepid stopped south of St. Helena Island while USCG Katmai Bay continued ice operations.
Northern Lake Huron
Cheboygan: Tuesday; 9:55 The tug Manitou departed and took up a standby position North of Fourteen Foot Shoal. 9:57 USCG Mackinaw departed for sea trials and returned to US Coast Guard Moorings Cheboygan at 12:58. At 12:59 The tug Manitou returned to her berth in the Cheboygan River.
