Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Monroe: Sharon M1/Huron Spirit arrived from Nanticoke at 13:10 with steel coils.
Toledo: Edwin H. Gott departed layup at 19:28 and is headed to Two Harbors.
Cleveland: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder is running the shuttles.
Nanticoke: Algocanada and Algonorth are at Imperial Oil.
Buffalo, NY – Brian Wroblewski
The Bristol Bay arrived on the afternoon of the 21st and did some “track maintenance” from the Buffalo North Entrance to the open lake out past Point Abino. Then around 6:30PM the MARINER backed out from her winter lay up berth at the Frontier Elevator, winded in the Outer Harbor, and met the Bristol Bay just outside the breakwall. They escorted the big laker out to clear water and the Mariner then headed for Sandusky around 8PM.
Montreal, QC – Rene Beauchamp
The Seaway opened its doors a day earlier than expected. CSL Welland departed from Montreal at 07:00 Monday, destination Sarnia. On the way, it will participate in the opening day of the Welland Canal on Wednesday. Artwork has been painted on the front of the wheelhouse, but was hidden by a strip of fabric.
