St. Marys River – Joshua Hebeisen
Stretching out her legs for the first time in nearly a month, USCGC Bristol Bay came off Lake Huron and entered the St. Marys River midmorning. The icebreaking tug would reach the Soo at 11:05 to complete her northbound journey from Detroit, MI, only to turn back around and head back down the river 12 minutes later. She will be spending the night at Lime Island farther downstream.
Port Huron, MI – Sarnia, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
Algonova left both her holds and the Imperial Oil dock empty with a 07:41 departure for Nanticoke, ON. CCGS Samuel Risley headed out in the opposite direction at 16:18, bound for Lake Huron’s North Channel to do some icebreaking. Iver Bright remains down the river at Suncor preparing for another trip to Detroit, MI.
Detroit, MI – Windsor, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
USCGC Neah Bay arrived from Cleveland, OH, at 17:44 for the Coast Guard dock in Harbortown.
Amherstburg, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
Departing the Coast Guard base at 16:03 was heavy icebreaking tug CCGS Judy LaMarsh. She is currently heading upbound to join fleetmate CCGS Samuel Risley in the North Channel.
