Western Lake Superior – Scott Bjorklund

Duluth Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report. As of Saturday afternoon, no vessels were in port on the Duluth side. Sunday will be a busy day for the Duluth Entry. American Century is expected early morning to load low sulfur coal at SMET. American Mariner is also due early Sunday morning, but to load wheat at General Mills, Superior. Paul R. Tregurtha is due early afternoon to load low sulfur coal at SMET; American Century is estimated to depart with low sulfur coal around this time, freeing up dock space. Arthur M. Anderson is expected early evening to unload limestone at C.Reiss Coal. Oakglen is due Sunday evening to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Finally, Avonborg is due Sunday night to load beet pulp pellets at Gavilon.
Superior Entry: Stewart J. Cort arrived at 16:55 (CST) Friday afternoon to wait for dock space at BNSF. Frontenac departed at 17:42 with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. Stewart J. Cort departed at 01:07 Saturday morning with iron ore pellets for Burns Harbor. CSL Tadoussac arrived at 01:25 to load at BNSF; they departed at 11:55 with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. As of Saturday afternoon, no vessels were in port on the Superior side. Burns Harbor is expected Saturday night to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors: Baie Comeau departed at 19:00 (CST) Friday night with iron ore pellets for Quebec City. Edgar B. Speer arrived at 19:21 to load at CN. They departed at 14:22 Saturday afternoon with iron ore pellets for Conneaut. As of Saturday afternoon, no vessels were in port at Two Harbors. No vessels are expected until Monday.
Silver Bay: Clyde S. VanEnkevort and Erie Trader arrived at 00:53 (CST) Saturday morning to load iron ore pellets at Northshore Mining. They departed at 14:57 with iron ore pellets. As of Saturday afternoon no vessels were in port. No vessels are expected until Monday.

Sturgeon Bay, WI
Tug John Marshall arrived Saturday afternoon, coming through the ship canal, to deliver the barge Lake Trader and they are currently on berth 2  to drydock in the coming week. Not sure if the Marshall is drydocking too. The car ferry Badger arrived about a week ago, towed in by Sarter tugs and moored at berth 9 behind the new build LNG Bunker Barge Clean Canaveral. The Badger should be drydocking this week. Mark W Barker launched late in October and is moored at berth 8 for finishing through the winter. The GLF boats Roger Bough (berth 15) and Cason J. Callaway (berth 3) remain in layup. The vessel Blue Heron is currently in the small graving dock.

Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
Saturday morning (11/13) tug Leona B moved barge CRB 761 from the heavy lift dock to a berth near UWM’s School of Freshwater Sciences so that a grinding machine from Austria could be lifted out and moved across Greenfield Avenue to the new Komatsu complex. A second oversized piece of equipment, delivered earlier this summer by ship, was moved to Komatsu from the Federal Marine Terminals dock Friday afternoon. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived at 07:19 with deicing salt from Cargill, Cleveland. Lee A. Tregurtha is expected late Saturday with scrubber stone for We Energies.

Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Caroline McKee/Commander arrived Saturday morning. Algoma Compass arrived to unload salt from Goderich at the Compass Minerals 92nd St. dock by early evening.
Indiana Harbor: Joseph L. Block departed Saturday evening after the John D. Letich arrived.
Buffington Harbor: Hon. James L. Oberstar arrived overnight to unload, departing late Saturday afternoon.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Federal Rideau and Federal Mosel remained in port on Saturday.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Intrepid cleared 6.55am Saturday downbound to Erie with salt.  Intrepid’s 29th appearance in Goderich this season.  Algoma Transport and Algoma Niagara have arrived for salt 7.30pm Saturday.

Lake Erie Ports for Saturday – Bill Kloss
Sandusky:  CSL Niagara remains at anchor.
Cleveland: Sam Laud arrived at 05:36 to unload at Allied Road Products. She left at 18:02. Calumet arrived shortly after to unload at Ontario Stone #4. She departed for Detroit at 15:35. Petite Forte/St. Mary’s Cement, Federal Ems and Peyton Lynn C remain in Cleveland. NACC Argonaut is expected to arrive on Sunday.
Ashtabula:  Spruceglen is at the Pinney dock.
Conneaut: Walter J. McCarthy is due on Sunday.
Nanticoke:  Algonova and Algoterra remain anchored. Algoscotia arrived late Saturday night. Hinch Spirit, Algocanada and Presque Isle are all expected to arrive on Sunday.
