Marquette, MI – Arthur Pickering
The James Oberstar visited Marquette’s ore dock earlier this week. Scheduled for today (November 3) is the Great Lakes Trader and the Maumee. The Lee Tregurtha is scheduled to visit the ore dock tomorrow.
Marquette, MI – Oggdo Bogdo
It was a day of tugs and barges at LS&I on Thursday; Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader arrived in the middle of the night at 03:50, and the Victory/Maumee arrived at 20:59. The latter is becoming the second most frequent visitor to Marquette since the American Spirit has begun to shift her ports of call to the western side of Lake Superior. Of course, none will surpass the Hon. James L. Oberstar, which will once again arrive in a couple days.
Muskegon, MI – Oggdo Bogdo
G.L. Ostrander/Integrity departed the cement dock at 07:20 to head back to Alpena for the usual cargo.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Miedwie (saltie from Szczecin, Poland) arrived at 08.44 Thursday loading at elevators. John D Leitch arrived 09.11 Thursday loading at Compass Minerals.
Alpena, MI – Jason Luther
The elegant lady Alpena arrived from Green Bay to her name sake port this morning to load cement at LaFarge. She departed for Detroit at 17:15.
Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Monroe, MI: Leonard M/Huron Spirit arrived at 06:35, unloaded steel coils then departed for Sault Ste. Marie at 10:08.
Toledo, OH: Spruceglen departed for Baie Comeau at 00:55. Federal Welland arrived at 07:35 Wilf Seymour/ Alouette Spirit arrived at 09:18 and went to Midwest Terminals. James R. Barker arrived at Torco at xxxx. In port are Algoma Sault at CSX and Mark W. Barker at Midwest Terminals. Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader departed for Stoneport at 13:33. Mark W. Barker left for Marblehead at 19:45.
Sandusky, OH: H. Lee White departed at 08:15 with coal for Algoma Steel at the Soo.
Cleveland, OH: Lubie is at the Port and American Courage is on the shuttles.
Nanticoke, OH: Algosea departed at 09:49 with petroleum products for Tracy, QC. Algoma Hansa arrived at 09:49 and anchored off of Port Dover. Algocanada Algoscotia
