In the evening she hove anchor and headed further downboud to Potaganissing Bay above DeTour to drop the hook again. American Integrity took her place in the anchorage, possibly due to low water in the Rock Cut. Congratulations to McKeil Marine, as their newest acquisition, the Northern Venture, makes her maiden voyage up the St. Lawrence Seaway! I took this vid in the American Narrows of the Seaway, early afternoon on October 10, 2023, in a very cold rain. The Ship was built in 1998 and formerly sailed under the name of M/V Da Shen. Following a major refit in China, she picked up a load of blast furnace Slag from Japan, and is heading to Heidelberg Cement in Picton, Ontario. – Meg Meakin
