Two Harbors, MN – Gary Putney
Presque Isle arrived at 19:20 on October 13 and departed at 07:19 on October 14. Edgar B. Speer arrived Two Harbors on October 14 at 10:02. At 19:00 the John G. Munson was East of Copper Harbor for Two Harbors. American Integrity was off Two Harbor to load after the Speer.
Silver Bay, MN – Gary Putney
Burns Harbor arrived Silver Bay on October 12 at 09:42 and departed on 10/14 at 16:12. No destination given but probably Burns Harbor.
Thunder Bay, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
Perhaps in a hurry to make up for lost time over the summer, Cuyahoga paid a visit to T-Bay for the second day in a row. The Hog had made it out as far as Isle Royale after departing late Friday night before turning around and heading back into the bay, officially re-entering port at 10:38 to load at Thunder Bay Terminals. It is very possible her excursion on the lake was to wash out her holds of Friday’s salty cargo before loading potash on Saturday. Algoma Niagara would arrive at 19:30 to load at G3 before Cuyahoga eventually departed for Sarnia, ON, at 21:53. Federal Yoshino arrived from the anchorage at 22:12 to take over at Thunder Bay Terminals.
Staying in port to start the weekend was G3 Marquis, though she did shift just west from Richardson Current River to Richardson Main late in the evening. Federal Mosel and Greenwing remained at anchor and were joined by Federal Baltic midmorning.
Holland, MI – Joshua Hebeisen
Yesterday’s gallery stated that mechanical issues had sent the Stewart J. Cort to anchor off port. Some sources now indicate that she is not undergoing repairs but rather waiting out weather while fellow footer Indiana Harbor occupies the unloading berth in Burns Harbor, IN.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Conveyor cleared 11:27 Friday downbound for Bécancour, QC, with salt. Maria G continues at the elevators.
Lake Erie – Bill Kloss
Anchored off of Point Pelee waiting out weather are Frontenac, Defiance/Ashtabula, Mark W. Barker, American Courage, and Prentiss Brown/St. Marys Challenger.
Toledo, OH – Bill Kloss
Dirk S. Vankevort/Erie Trader arrived at Ironville. Federal Seto is at Andersons. Joseph L. Block was a late afternoon arrival.
Sandusky, OH – Bill Kloss
Algoma Transport departed for Hamilton and CSL Niagara is under the loader at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland, OH – Bill Kloss
Algoma Buffalo departed with salt for Johnstown. Calumet is running a shuttle. Happy River is at Dock 24W at the Port. Victory/Maumee is unloading ore at the Bulk Terminal.
Grand River, OH – Fairport Harbor, OH – Bill Kloss
Manitowoc is at Osborne waiting out weather.
Nanticoke, ON – Bill Kloss
Edwin H. Gott arrived with ore for Stelco. Algoberta is loading at Imperial Oil and Algotitan is anchored off of Port Dover.
