Two Harbors, MN – Gary Putney
Edgar B. Speer is in the Straits heading for Gary Works. Presque Isle is North of Keweenaw after departing Two Harbors on 16:22 10/21 for the Gary Works. John G. Munson arrived Two Harbors 10/22 at 02:50 for the ore dock.

Silver Bay, MN – Gary Putney
James R. Barker arrived Silver Bay on 10/22 at 2:50.

Marquette, MI – Noah H.
Traffic began at 13:31 with the Joseph L. Block making a visit. The next activity was at 17:22 with the American Spirit’s arrival. It would be the typical ore load at the north dock for Marquette’s resident thousand footer. She would not budge for the rest of the night, but the aforementioned Block departed for Cleveland right at midnight. Vessels due next include the Coast Guard’s Spar, visiting from Duluth, and likely some Interlake ships once they leave their stone ports.

Marquette, MI – Arthur Pickering
The Hon. James Oberstar, Lee Tregurtha and Kaye Barker made visits to the ore dock during the past few days. Currently, the Joseph Block and American Spirit are en route to Marquette and should arrive at the ore dock sometime today.

Monroe, MI – Bill Kloss
October 19
New York/DS509A is at Michigan Paving. Paul R. Tregurtha came in later in the evening with coal for DTE.

October 20
Paul R. Tregurtha departed for Superior, WI. New York/DS509A is still unloading.

October 21
New York/Double Skin 509A is still unloading.

Toledo, OH – Bill Kloss
October 19
Leaving were Lee A. Tregurtha for Marquette, Arthur M. Anderson for Calcite, and Evans Spirit for Port Cartier. Arrivals were Samuel de Champlain/Innovation to Holcim and Wilf Seymour/Alouette Spirit to Midwest Terminals where Herbert C. Jackson remains.

October 20
Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader arrived to unload at Torco. Herbert C. Jackson left for Burns Harbor.

October 21
Victory/Maumee is loading coal at CSX. Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great LakesTrader to Calcite. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived from Cleveland, loaded coal, and left for Saginaw.

Marblehead, OH – Bill Kloss
October 19
Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader left with stone for Fairport Harbor. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder then went to the dock, loaded, and departed for Cleveland. Algoma Compass was next in line to load at Holcim.

October 20
Algoma Compass left and is headed to Meldrum Bay. Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader returned to Holcim.

October 21
Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader loaded limestone and left for Lorain.

Sandusky, OH – Bill Kloss
October 19
CSL Laurentien is loading coal at Norfolk Southern.

October 20
CSL Laurentien departed with coal for Nanticoke.

Cleveland, OH – Bill Kloss
October 19
Finnborg is at the Port, Petite Forte/St. Marys Cement is at Holcim and Mark W. Barker is at Cargill loading salt. Arriving were Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder with stone for RiverDock and Sea Eagle II/St. Marys Cement II to SMC Jefferson St. Tying up later in the night was Joseph L. Block to unload ore at the Bulk Terminal.

October 20
American Courage delivered to Ontario Stone. Departing were Mark W. Barker to Green Bay with salt and Finnborg to Detroit. Petite Forte is at Holcim, Sea Eagle II is at St. Marys and Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder is on a shuttle.

October 21
Arrivals were Cuyahoga to Cliffs, Walter J. McCarthy, Jr. with UTAC pellets to the Bulk Terminal, and Polsteam’s Isolda to Dock 24E at the Port. Departing were American Courage to Fairport Harbor and Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder to Toledo. Still unloading are Sea Eagle II/St.Marys Cement II and Petite Forte/St. Marys Cement. Cuyahoga departed for Marblehead.

Grand River, OH – Fairport Harbor, OH – Bill Kloss

Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader left for Marblehead once empty.

American Courage arrived from Cleveland.

American Spirit arrived with ore for the P&C Dock.

Algotitan loaded petroleum products and departed for Tracy, PQ. Algoterra and Algonova are at anchor.

October 20
Algosea is loading at Imperial Oil while fleetmates Algoterra and Algonova remain anchored.

October 21
Edwin H. Gott delivered ore to Stelco while CSL Laurentien unloaded coal. Algosea departed with petroleum products for Sarnia. Algoterra remains at anchor while Algonova and Birgit Knutsen are loading at Imperial Oil.
