Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Walter J. McCarthy Jr. arrived at 17:31 (CST) Saturday evening to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. H. Lee White arrived at 03:18 Sunday morning to load petroleum coke; H. Lee White departed at 12:20 with petroleum coke for Charlevoix. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. departed at 15:31 with iron ore pellets for Indiana Harbor. As of Sunday night, no vessels were in port on the Duluth side. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected later Sunday night to load low sulfur coal at SMET. John G. Munson is expected early Monday to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Paul R. Tregurtha is estimated to depart late morning with low sulfur coal. James R. Barker is expected Monday night to load iron ore pellets at CN#6.
Superior Entry: American Spirit departed at 22:11 (CST) Saturday night with iron ore pellets. Algoma Innovator arrived at 13:06 to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. As of Sunday night, Algoma Innovator was loading at BNSF and Fivelborg was loading beet pulp pellets at Gavilon. Mesabi Miner is expected later Sunday night to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. Algoma Innovator is estimated to depart early Monday with iron ore pellets.
Two Harbors- Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Two Harbors saw the departure of the Edgar B. Speer on 10/23 at 04:41 for Gary. Edwin H. Gott arrived Two Harbors on 10/23 at 18:50 for South of #2. Due Two Harbors on 10/24 is the Michipicoten. She was originally scheduled for Marquette, but was switched to Two Harbors. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the departure of the of the CSL Assiniboine on 10/22 at 19:40 for Quebec City. Arriving Silver Bay on 10/23 were both the Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader at 02:50 and the American Century at 05:20. There is no inbound traffic due Silver Bay on 10/24.
Marquette, MI – Arthur Pickering
On Saturday, the Hon. James L. Oberstar visited the ore dock. Sunday Kaye Barker made a visit to the ore dock. On Monday, Lee A Tregurtha is scheduled while Michipicoten is scheduled for a Tuesday.

Port Inland: Saturday 19:44 Cuyahoga departed for Spragge Harbour. Sunday; 4:11 Clyde S Van Enkevort / Erie Trader arrived to load limestone.
Charlevoix:Sunday; 5:45 Caroline McKee / Commander arrived to load cement products.
Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Algoma Compass departed South Chicago very early on Sunday morning. John D. Leitch arrived by late Sunday morning, followed by Manitoulin.
Indiana Harbor: Burns Harbor arrived in Indiana Harbor to unload Sunday afternoon.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Stewart J. Cort arrived Sunday. Salties Federal Hudson, Federal Freedom, and Lubie all remained in Burns Harbor on Sunday.

McGregor Bay: Sunday; 9:39 Algoma Intrepid departed for the Sault.
Spragge Harbour: Sunday 10:23 Cuyahoga arrived to unload limestone and departed at 14:50 for Thessalon.
Drummond Island: Sunday; 2:10 Victory / Maumee arrived to load limestone.
Port Dolomite: Sunday; 9:03 Great Republic arrived to load limestone. 10:43 Undaunted / Pere Marquette 41 arrived and went to anchor.
Cheboygan: Saturday; 22:29 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes departed for Port Huron.
Calcite: Saturday; 22:30 Calumet arrived to load limestone. 23:13 John J Boland arrived to load limestone. Sunday: 12:31 Calumet departed down bound on Lake Huron.
Alpena: Saturday; 18:57 G L Ostrander / Integrity departed for Detroit. Sunday; 7:18 Herbert C Jackson arrived at the Lafarge plant to unload. 8:16 The cement carrier Alpena arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products. 17:30 Herbert C Jackson departed for Meldrum Bay.

Lake Erie Ports for Sunday – Bill Kloss
Toledo: Federal Yoshino arrived late Saturday night to unload at Midwest Terminal. Federal Hunter departed for Montreal at 10:24. Algoma Buffalo arrived at Kuhlman with salt from Goderich at 11:23. The Hon. James L. Oberstar arrived from Marquette at 14:26 to unload at Torco. Prentiss Brown/St. Mary’s Challenger is expected in early Monday morning.
Cleveland: Federal Kushiro arrived at 21:45. Petite Forte/St. Mary’s Cement is at St. Mary’s Jefferson St. terminal. American Courage is running the shuttles.
Nanticoke: Algonova is at Imperial Oil. Olive L. Moore/Menominee departed for Detroit at 03:02. Hinch Spirit is at anchor off Port Dover. Algocanada anchored at 08:22. CSL Niagara Algoma Transport departed for Clarkson at 14:41. Algonorth left for Tracy at 15:06. At 20:05, CSL’s Rt. Hon. Paul Martin went on the hook off of Port Dover. She’s headed to Thunder Bay. Winds are at 25 knots and waves to 5 feet.
