Duluth, MN – Superior, WI – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry
Happy River arrived at 06:08 (Central) Wednesday morning with quartz sand for Port Terminal. Steamship Alpena arrived soon after at 06:27 to unload cement at Holcim Superior Terminal. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. departed at 09:51 with iron ore pellets for Cleveland. Finally, Great Lakes Towing tug Missouri, which has been in Sault Ste. Marie for most of the season, returned at 14:50 for towing and icebreaking duties in the Twin Ports. As of Wednesday night, Isadora was loading at Riverland Ag while Happy River was unloading at Port Terminal. American Century is expected early Thursday to load coal at SMET; they will most likely depart mid-day.
Superior Entry
No traffic has taken place since the last report! As of Wednesday night, Alpena was unloading at Holcim. Indiana Harbor is expected late Wednesday for BNSF; they may depart late Thursday.
Two Harbors, MN – Gary Putney
Edwin H. Gott is in Eastern Lake Superior after having left Two Harbors at 10:13 on 10/18 for Nanticoke. Michipicoten is East of Keweenaw heading for Two Harbors. At 06:30, Edgar B. Speer was near Whitefish Point heading for Two Harbors.
Marquette, MI – Arthur Pickering
The Kaye E. Barker, Lee A. Tregurtha and Joseph L. Block visited the ore dock earlier this week. The Maumee was due on Wednesday evening. The Hon James Oberstar was scheduled for a Thursday arrival, while the Lee Tregurtha and the Kaye Barker were scheduled for Friday arrivals.

New York/Double Skin 509A has liquid asphalt for Michigan Paving.
Toledo, OH – Bill Kloss
Albert/Margaret left for Green Bay and Federal Sakura is on her way to Montreal. Arriving were Lee A. Tregurtha to Torco and Evans Spirit and Herbert C. Jackson to Midwest Terminals.
Marblehead, OH – Bill Kloss
Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder loaded stone and left for Lorain. Clyde S. Vankevort/Erie Trader is at Holcim.
Lorain, OH – Bill Kloss
Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived to unload at Holcim. Then departed for a return to Marblehead.
Cleveland, OH – Bill Kloss
Mark W. Barker is running shuttles for Cliffs. McKeil Spirit departed for Picton. Finnborg is at Dock 24W at the Port.
Grand River, OH – Fairport Harbor, OH – Bill Kloss
Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader left for Marblehead once empty.
Nanticoke, ON – Bill Kloss
Departing were Presque Isle to Two Harbors and Algoma Transport to Detroit. Algotitan is at Imperial Oil and fleetmate Algoterra is at anchor.
