Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Defiance/Ashtabula departed at 17:53 (CST) Tuesday evening with petroleum coke for Alpena. Fivelborg departed at 18:13 with beet pulp pellets for Morocco. James R. Barker departed at 18:58 Wednesday night with iron ore pellets for Toledo. American Mariner arrived at 02:56 Thursday morning to unload limestone at Graymont; she will be loading iron ore pellets at BNSF on departure. Great Republic departed at 11:52 with iron ore pellets for Gary. As of Thursday afternoon, no vessels were in port on the Duluth side. John D. Leitch is expected Thursday night to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Joseph L. Block is expected mid-morning Friday to unload limestone at Graymont; they will be shifting to load blast furnace trim at CN-Hallett #5 on departure.
Superior Entry: Alpena departed at 15:50 (CST) Wednesday afternoon empty for Alpena. CSL Tadoussac arrived at 11:15 Thursday morning to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. As of Thursday afternoon, American Mariner was taking a delay at Lakehead Pipeline, CSL Tadoussac was loading at BNSF, and Stewart J. Cort was anchored off Superior waiting to load at BNSF. CSL Tadoussac is estimated to depart Thursday night with iron ore pellets. Stewart J. Cort should arrive once Tadoussac departs.

Two Harbors- Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Due Two Harbors on 10/29 are the Burns Harbor and the Edgar B. Speer. Northshore  Mining in Silver Bay saw the Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader depart on 10/27 at 23:10 for Toledo. Arriving Silver Bay on 10/29 at approx. 18:00 is the Atlantic Huron.

Thunder Bay, ON
Wednesday; 21:16 Federal Satsuki departed for Montreal. 23:07 Frontenac departed for Midland. Thursday; Federal Freedom arrived at Viterra A to load grain.

St. Marys River
USCG Mackinaw was upbound in the afternoon Thursday on a training cruise. She was headed to Duluth.

Northern Lake Michigan
Port Inland: Wednesday 19:19 Manitoulin departed for Spragge Harbour.
Charlevoix: Wednesday; 20:00  Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Challenger departed for Green Bay.

Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
Indiana Harbor: Walter J. McCarthy, Jr. and Lee A Tegurtha both completed unloading at Indiana Harbor and departed on Thursday night.\
Gary: John G. Munson arrived Thursday night.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Wilfred Sykes arrived Thursday afternoon. Federal Yoshino arrived Thursday evening.
St. Joseph: Manitowoc remained anchored off St. Joseph.

Northern Lake Huron
Spragge Harbour: Thursday; 8:44 Manitoulin arrived to unload limestone and departed at 15:24.
Cheboygan: Thursday; 5:16 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes arrived at the US Oil Co terminal to unload petroleum products.
Calcite: Wednesday; Thursday; 10:07H Lee White departed for Green Bay. 10:17 John J Boland arrived to load limestone.
Alpena: Thursday; 1:11  G L Ostrander / Integrity departed for Milwaukee. 1:41 Samuel De Champlain arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products. Defiance / Ashtabula arrived to unload petroleum coke at the Lafarge plant.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
No traffic to report.  Algoma Transport, Algoma Sault expected next in that order.  Algoma Compass may return for another load of salt.
