Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Great Republic departed at 22:03 (CST) Wednesday with iron ore pellets for Gary. Joseph L. Block departed at 23:43 empty to anchor outside Duluth, waiting to load in Two Harbors. American Integrity departed at 16:16 Thursday afternoon with iron ore pellets for Cleveland. As of Thursday night, Heerengracht was unloading at Port Terminal. Michipicoten is expected Friday mid-afternoon to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Heerengracht is estimated to depart sometime Friday.
Superior Entry: Algoma Equinox departed at 09:14 (CST) Thursday morning with iron ore pellets for Hamilton. As of Thursday night, no vessels were in port on the Superior side. CSL Tadoussac is expected early Friday to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors- Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Burns Harbor departed Two Harbors on 10/7 at 10:56. She has no updated AIS, but I’m guessing she’s headed for her namesake port. Arriving Two Harbors for South of #2 at 12:10 on 10/7 was the Joseph L. Block. The Block had unloaded stone at Graymont in Superior before heading for Two Harbors. There is no inbound traffic scheduled for Two Harbors on 10/8. Due Northshore Mining in Silver Bay on 10/8 is the Walter J. McCarthy Jr.

Thursday; 5:39 The saltie Ocean Castle arrived at Keefer Terminal. 10:26 Cuyahoga arrived at Thunder Bay Terminals to load potash. 19:39 Kaministiqua departed for Sorel.

Upbound traffic Thursday included Algoma Transport, Sam Laud, Sharon M. 1 / Huron Spirit, Walter J. McCarthy Jr. and Maumee/Victory. Downbounders included Stewart J. Cort and Erie Trader/Clyde S. VanEnkevort.

Port Inland: Thursday; 0:34 Kaye E Barker arrived to load limestone and departed at 13:20 for Grand Haven. 19:31 Manitowoc arrived to load limestone.
Charlevoix: Thursday; 15:12 Prentiss Brown / St Marys Conquest arrived to load cement products.
Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
Wilfred Sykes arrived at Burns Harbor in the late evening Thursday. Edwin H. Gott was unloading at Gary.

Bruce Mines: Thursday; 4:40 Manitoulin arrived to load trap rock and departed at 16:34 for Detroit.
Calcite: Thursday; 4:13 John G Munson for Buffington. 11:19 H Lee White arrived to load limestone. 15:26 American Mariner arrived to load limestone.
Stoneport: Wednesday; 20:59 Lee A Tregurtha departed for Milwaukee. However she took a direct course for the St Marys River and went to anchor north of Detour. Thursday at 14:30 she departed for Milwaukee.
Alpena: Thursday; 12:20 GL Ostrander / Integrity departed for Detroit. 12:53 The cement carrier Alpena arrived at the Lafarge plant to load.

Algoma Buffalo loading at Compass Minerals. Algoma Compass expected next.
Lake Erie Ports for Thursday – Bill Kloss
Kingsville: Saginaw arrived at 07:14 to unload stone at Southwestern Sales. She departed for Toledo at 15:13.
Marblehead: Saginaw loaded and left for Kingsville at 02:32.
Sandusky: Herbert C. Jackson arrived at 19:13 to load at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder left late Wednesday night with salt for Duluth. Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader unloaded at the Bulk Terminal and departed for Silver Bay at 09:05. Samuel deChamplain/Innovation left for Alpena at 15:51. NACC Capri arrived at LaFarge at 15:57.
Fairport Harbor: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson arrived at 06:03. She unloaded and departed for Marblehead at 16:34.
Conneaut: Edgar B. Speer departed for Two Harbors at 12:14.
