No traffic on Wednesday, though the American Spirit will likely be coming in on Thursday. More significantly, the Mark W. Barker will be making her second unbound trip through the Soo Locks to make her first ever visit to Marquette in the coming days. Interlake’s shiny new vessel is starting to make her ‘Mark’ on many ports around the Great Lakes…
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Intrepid cleared 08..38 Wednesday downbound for Johnstown ON with salt. Algoma Niagara arrived 10.17 Wednesday loading at Compass Minerals, her 5th appearance here this season.
Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Monroe, MI: Undaunted/Pere Marquette 41 arrived late Wednesday night.
Toledo, OH: Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader departed for Silver Bay, MN at 07:26. James R. Barker arrived at Torco at 18:36. Federal Fraser is at Kuhlman’s.
Kingsville, ON: Cuyahoga arrived at 04:44, unloaded stone at Southwestern Sales, then departed for Marblehead at 04:59.
Marblehead, OH: Cuyahoga arrived at 11:37 and loaded stone at Holcim.
Sandusky, OH: Florence Spirit departed at 04:32 with coal for Hamilton, ON. CSL Niagara arrived at 05:48 to load coal at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland, OH: American Courage arrived at 05:52 and is back on the shuttles. Done with the .shuttles, Mark W. Barker departed for Marquette, MI at 13:32. Prentiss Brown/St. Marys Challenger arrived 20 minutes later and unloaded at the St. Marys Columbus St. facility. Wilfred Sykes arrived at the Bulk Terminal at 18:34.
Fairport Harbor, OH: Once empty, American Courage left late Tuesday night for Cleveland.
Ashtabula, OH: Manitowoc arrived at 10:52, unloaded and then departed at 18:56.
Nanticoke, ON: Algoma Hansa departed for Tracy-Kildair, PQ. Arthur M. Anderson arrived at Stelco at 19:16, followed by the Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin anchoring off of Port Dover at 19:32. Algocanada is at Imperial Oil.
