Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund|Duluth Entry: Federal Churchill arrived at 22:27 (CST) Wednesday night to unload cement at CRH. As of Thursday late afternoon, Algoma Discovery was waiting at CN#6 due to high winds on the lake, American Century was anchored outside Duluth for that same reason, and Federal Churchill was unloading at CRH. Algoma Discovery is estimated to depart early Friday with iron ore pellets; American Century will arrive once they depart to load at CN#6. Kaye E. Barker is expected mid-morning to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5.
Superior Entry: CSL Niagara departed at 01:26 (CST) Thursday morning with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. As of Thursday late afternoon, Walter J. McCarthy Jr. was loading at BNSF. The McCarthy is estimated to depart early Friday with iron ore pellets. Michipicoten is expected early morning to load at BNSF. Frontenac is also expected early morning but will most likely anchor on arrival. CSL Assiniboine is expected late morning to also anchor, waiting in line to load at BNSF.

Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Edwin H. Gott departed Two Harbors on 9/16 at 01:55 for Nanticoke. Manitoulin arrived Two Harbors on 9/16 at 06:25 for South of #2. she departed on 9/16 at 14:15 for the Soo. The Atlantic Huron went to anchor off Two Harbors at roughly 11:00 on 9/16. She arrived Two Harbors at approx. 14:53 for South of #2. the Edgar B. Speer went to anchor off Port Wing, WI early in the afternoon of 9/16 to wait on the Two Harbors dock. Due Two Harbors on 9/17 is the Burns Harbor. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader depart on 9/16 at 10:56 for Toledo. Due Silver Bay on 9/17 is the Algoma Strongfield.

Thunder Bay, ON
Wednesday; 12:58 The saltie Puna departed for Montreal. 13:25 Federal St Laurent weighed anchor and proceeded to Thunder Bay Terminals to load. 18:08 Rt. Hon. Paul J Martin departed for Becancour. 19:04 Harvest Spirit departed for Windsor. Thursday; 1:32 CSL St Laurent arrived at Keefer Terminal for port services.

Port Inland: Wednesday; 22:50 Joseph L Block arrived to load limestone.Thursday; 2:17 Great Republic arrived and went to anchor. 14:44 Joseph L Block departed for Indiana Harbor.Great Republic weighed anchor and proceeded to the dock to load.
Charlevoix: Wednesday; 7:04  Caroline McKee / Commander arrived to load cement products and departed at 20 :57 for Chicago. Thursday; 3:22 Prentiss Brown / St Marys Conquest arrived to load cement products.

Northern Lake Huron
McGregor Bay; Wednesday; 19:48 Algoma Innovator arrived at Fisher Harbour to unload road salt and departed Thursday at 10:17 for Goderich.
Bruce Mines: Thursday; 7:20 Algoma Compass arrived to load trap rock and departed at 20:09 for Chicago.
Thessalon: Thursday; 16:59 Laura L Van Enkevort / Joseph H Thompson arrived to load stone.
Meldrum Bay: Wednesday; 7:22 Kaye E Barker weighed anchor and proceeded to the Lafarge Quarry dock to load limestone. 14:41 Kaye E Barker departed for Duluth Superior.
Port Dolomite: Wednesday; 11:06 American Courage arrived to load limestone and departed at 22:53 for Cleveland.
Cheboygan: Thursday; 13:17 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes arrived at the US Oil Co. terminal to unload petroleum products.

Alpena: Tuesday; 20:47 Calumet arrived at the Lafarge plant to unload and departed Tuesday at 4:52 for Stoneport. 8:30 Samuel De Champlain / Innovation arrived at the Lafarge to load cement products and departed at 14:13 for the Saginaw River. 14:44 The cement carrier Alpena arrived at the Lafarge plant to load and departed Thursday at 11:50 for Detroit.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Sault cleared 10.02 pm Wednesday downbound for Ogdensburg with salt.  Algoma Innovator is expected next, returning from Fisher Harbour.

Lake Erie Ports for Thursday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead:  Sharon MI/Huron Spirit departed for Windsor. Olive L. Moore/Menominee arrived at 00:31. She loaded and departed at 15:01 for Cleveland.
Sandusky:  CSL Laurentian loaded for Nanticoke, leaving Wednesday night. H. Lee White arrived at 07:46.
Lorain:  Olive L. Moore/Menominee left for Marblehead after unloading at LaFarge Wednesday night. Cuyahoga  left for Windsor at 19:40.
Cleveland:  Fortunagracht departed for Chicago at 15:15. Olive L. Moore/Menominee arrived late Thursday night from Marblehead.
Nanticoke:  CSL Tadoussac departed for Bowmanville. Algocanada and Algosea are still at Imperial Oil. CSL Laurentian arrived at  07:59. Algoma Niagara departed for Quebec at 15:45.
