Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: American Century departed at 05:23 (CST) Saturday morning with iron ore pellets for Indiana Harbor. Mesabi Miner arrived at 09:12 to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. As of Saturday night, Mesabi Miner was loading at CN#6 while Federal Churchill was unloading at CRH. Mesabi Miner is estimated to depart early Sunday with iron ore pellets. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected Sunday evening to load low sulfur coal at SMET.
Superior Entry: Frontenac departed at 00:38 (CST) with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. CSL Assiniboine arrived at 00:55, and departed at 17:56 with iron ore pellets for Quebec City. As of Saturday night, Walter J. McCarthy Jr. was taking a delay at Lakehead Pipeline. Stewart J. Cort is expected early Sunday to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Burns Harbor arrived Two Harbors on 9/17 at 22:50 for South of #2. As of 17:45 on 9/18 she’s still at the dock. There is no inbound traffic scheduled for Two Harbors on 9/19. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the departure of the Algoma Strongfield on 9/17 at 19:12 for Quebec City. The Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader arrived Silver Bay on 9/18 at 13:55 after unloading stone in Marquette. There is no inbound traffic scheduled for Silver Bay on 9/19.

Friday; 22:13 Algoma Equinox arrived at the Richardson Current River Terminal to load grain. Saturday; 18:22 The saltie Blacky departed for Montreal. 19:00 CSL St Laurent departed for Montreal.

Algoma Innovator is expected sometime Sunday with the season’s first load of road salt.
St. Marys River
Algoma Innovator was upbound Saturday afternoon for Hancock, MI, with a cargo of winter road salt. Paul R. Tregurtha preceeded her up the river. Atlantic Huron was downbound, followed in the evening by Algoma Strongfield.
Northern Lake Michigan
John G. Munson was loading at Port Inland Saturday night. Joseph L. Block is due early Sunday.
Milwaukee, WI
Herbert C. Jackson is expected early Sunday.
Grand Haven
Calumet was inbound Saturday evening.
Southern Lake Michigan
Wilfred Sykes was at Burns Harbor Saturday night, as was the saltie Federal Elbe. Indiana Harbor was at anchor awaiting dock space. South Chicago had Fortunagracht, Algoma Compass and Edenborg at various docks along the Cal River.

Thessalon: Saturday; 9:28 Cuyahoga arrived to partially load with stone and departed at 11:29 for Meldrum Bay.
Meldrum Bay: Saturday; 5:50 Algoma Intrepid departed for Sarnia. 13:55 Cuyahoga arrived to finish loading with limestone.
Calcite: Friday; 20:15 American Mariner arrived to load. Saturday; 0:27 Victory / Maumee arrived to load limestone and departed at 16:23 for Algoma Steel, Sault Ste Marie. Arthur M Anderson arrived to load. 18:46 American Mariner departed for Detroit. 18:52 Manitoulin arrived to load limestone.
Stoneport: Friday; 20:14 Herbert C Jackson departed for Milwaukee.
Alpena: Saturday; 3:27 John J Boland arrived at the Lafarge plant to unload.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 11.48 pm Friday upbound for Hancock, MI, with salt. Algoma Buffalo cleared 2.20 pm Saturday upbound with salt. Goderich has hosted 125 vessels thus far this season.
Lake Erie Ports for Saturday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead: Defiance/Ashtabula departed for Fairport Harbor at 05:42. Olive L. Moore/Menominee came in from anchorage at 06:01.
Sandusky: Florence Spirit is at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland: American Courage is on the shuttles.
Fairport Harbor: Defiance/Ashtabula arrived at 12:49.
Ashtabula: Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader arrived at 02:00, unloaded and left for Silver Bay at 10:30.
Conneaut: American Integrity departed at 07:06 for Duluth.
Nanticoke: Algocanada departed at 11:16 for Sarnia. Algoma Hansa arrived at 10:16. Algonova is at the dock. Algosea is at anchor.
