Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Federal Churchill departed at 19:10 (CST) Wednesday night empty for Thunder Bay. Samuel de Champlain and Innovation arrived at 04:54 Thursday morning to unload cement at Lafarge Superior. Hon. James L. Oberstar soon after at 05:07 to unload eastern coal at C.Reiss Coal. As of Thursday evening, Hon. James L. Oberstar just finished unloading at C.Reiss Coal. Hon. James L. Oberstar is estimated to depart Thursday evening empty for Marquette. American Mariner is expected mid-afternoon to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Wilfred Sykes is expected late evening to unload limestone at Graymont.
Superior Entry: No traffic has taken place since the last report. As of Thursday early evening, Samuel de Champlain and Innovation were unloading at Lafarge Superior. Indiana Harbor is expected early evening to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. Samuel de Champlain and Innovation are estimated to depart mid-afternoon Friday empty.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Edwin H. Gott departed Two Harbors on 9/22 at 18:37 for Gary.Due Two Harbors, probably on 9/25, is the American Mariner after she unloads stone at CN-Hallett #5 in Duluth. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay still Has the Algoma Harvester at the dock as of 17:30 on 9/23. She is loading for Quebec City. There is no scheduled traffic for Silver Bay on 9/24.

Thursday; 0:40 Harvest Spirit departed for Windsor. 1:52 Algoma Transport departed for Detroit. 3:44 Federal Elbe arrived and went to anchor. 6:32 Algoma Intrepid arrived at the MobilEx Terminal to load potash. 11:00 Saginaw arrived at the Richardson Main Terminal to load grain. 14;15 Saginaw shifted to the Superior Elevator to finish loading.

Algoma Sault cleared 5.13 pm Thursday downbound with salt Algoma Conveyor loading Thursday at Compass Minerals.

Kingsville: Manitoulin arrived late Thursday night.
Marblehead: Robert S. Pierson arrived late Wednesday night and went to anchor. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder departed at 14:07 for Cleveland. Robert S. Pierson went to the dock at 14:55 after Dorothy Ann left.
Sandusky: Kaye E. Barker arrived at 09:17 to load at Norfolk Southern.
Lorain: Victory/Maumee left at 10:39 for Toledo.
Cleveland: Calumet departed for Detroit at 04:24. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived at 19:15 to unload at Osborne.
Fairport Harbor: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson departed at 01:51 with sand for Detroit.
Ashtabula: Oakglen is at the Pinney dock. Olive L. Moore/Menominee departed at 03:30. Defiance/Ashtabula left for Calcite at 19:58.
Nanticoke: CSL Niagara departed at 02:33.
Welland Canal – Barry Andersen
A former U.S. Army tug, Enduring Freedom – ST-911 was upbound in the Welland Canal late Wednesday afternoon, between rainstorms. Her destination was Detroit and her new owners are believed to be Dean Marine & Excavating Inc.

McKeil Spirt departed about 13:00 Thursday for Toronto to lay-up.
