American Mariner arrived Two Harbors at 06:06 on 9/25 after unloading stone at CN-Hallett #5 in Duluth. She departed Two Harbors at 12:54 on 9/25 for Soo, Ontario after loading at South of #2. Possibly arriving Two Harbors on 9/26 is the Edgar B. Speer. As of 16:30 on 9/25 she was entering the St. Mary’s River at Detour. Due Northshore Mining in Silver Bay on 9/25 is the Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader. As of 16:30 she was roughly 30 miles East of Silver Bay. Due Silver Bay on 9/26 is the American Century. As of 16:30 on 9/25 she was running checked down at Copper Harbor.

Thunder Bay, ON
Thursday; 18:15  Algoma Intrepid departed for Essexville. 21:32 The saltie Fortunagracht arrived at Thunder Bay Terminal to load. Friday; 12:49 Saginaw departed for Owen Sound. 23:17 Fortunagracht departed for Montreal. Sunday 9:27 CSL Welland arrived at Viterra A to load grain.

Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix: Thursday; 23:03  Prentiss Brown / St Marys Conquest arrived from Harbor Springs to load cement products and departed Friday at 6:05 for Milwaukee. 14:32 Radcliffe R Latimer arrived at the St Marys Cement plant to unload. and departed at 22:46 for Sault Ste Marie ON.  Saturday; 0:18 Caroline McKee / Commander arrived to load cement products and departed at 14:40 for Chicago.
Port Inland: Thursday; 14:35 Joseph L Block departed for Duluth Superior. Friday; 15:17 American Courage arrived to load limestone and departed Sunday at 5:36 for Erie PA. 10:43 Manitowoc arrived to load limestone.

Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Alpena arrived early Saturday morning, followed closely by the Arthur M. Anderson shifting over from Gary.
Gary: Edwin H. Gott departed Gary early Saturday afternoon.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Great Republic arrived early Saturday morning to load at Cleveland Cliffs. Stewart J. Cort completed unloading and departed by early afternoon, with the Lee A. Tregurtha pulling up anchor and taking her place. Burns Harbor completed unloading and departed the port around 3:30 PM. Salties Federal Nagara, Irma, and Ijzerborg all remained in port on Saturday.

Meldrum Bay: Friday; 23:43 Baie Comeau arrived to load limestone. Saturday; 3:11 Cuyahoga arrived and went to anchor. 15:22 Baie Comeau departed down bound on Lake Huron. 15:32 Cuyahoga arrived to load limestone.
Drummond Island: Saturday;9:13 Laura L Van Enkevort / Joseph H Thompson arrived to finish loading with limestone and departed at 13:40 for Cleveland.
Port Dolomite: Thursday; American Mariner departed for Duluth Superior.
Cheboygan: Friday; 7:11 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes arrived at the US Oil Co. terminal to unload petroleum products and departed at 11:36 for Sarnia. 11:56  The tug Albert and tanker barge Margaret arrived at the US Oil Co. terminal to unload petroleum products

Algoma Compass loading Saturday at Compass Minerals.  Compass’ 17 th appearance this season for salt.  Algoma Innovator approaching to load salt next.

Lake Erie Ports for Saturday – Bill Kloss
Monroe:  Paul R.Tregurtha arrived late Friday night to unload at DTE. She left for Superior at 11:32.
Marblehead:  Manitoulin departed at 11:16 for Amherstburg.
Sandusky:  Micipicoten arrived at 05:37 to load coal at Norfolk Southern. She left for Sault Ste. Marie at 12:09.
Cleveland:  Sharon MI/Huron Spirit arrived at 03:50 and went to her usual spot at dock 24N. After unloading steel coils, she departed at 12:23. Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader arrived at the Bulk Terminal at 10:04. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder left for Detroit 18:17. Herbert C. Jackson arrived at 18:32 with stone for Osborne. American Integrity arrived at 19:14 and anchored to wait for a berth at the Bulk Terminal. John J. Boland arrived late Saturday night.
Ashtabula:  Robert S. Pierson arrived at 14:21.
Nanticoke:  Presque Isle arrived at Stelco at 02:52. She departed for Duluth at 18:00. Algocanada arrived at Imperial Oil at 03:09. Algoma Hansa went to anchor off of Port Dover at 12:41. CSL Niagara arrived at Stelco.

Welland Canal – Barry Andersen
Don Jon at Erie has completed and delivered the tug J. Arnold Witte – MMSI # 368211990 for their account, presumable at Port Newark, N.J. area. She was downbound in the canal on Saturday. John D. Leitch departed Port Colborne Sept. 24 at 17:00 for Toledo. She will unload and then head back to Port Weller Drydock to repair a hole that has been temporarily patched (estimated time in drydock is 1 week). She was damaged in a grounding after hitting the abutments of old number 10 railway bridge last week.
