A busy day on the river Monday included the downbound classics CSL Tadoussac, Frontenac and Ojibway. Michipicoten, Mesabi Miner, Radcliffe R. Latimer. Kaye E. Barker and Greenwing were downbound. Upbound traffic included Presque Isle, Eider and Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader.

Meldrum Bay: Monday; 19:09 Herbert C Jackson arrived to load limestone.
Bruce Mines: Monday; 1:59 Algoma Buffalo departed for Detroit. Monday; 16:04 Saginaw arrived to load trap rock.
Cheboygan: Monday; 18:27 The tug Albert and tanker barge Margaret departed for Green Bay.
Calcite: Monday; 9:35 H Lee White departed for Green Bay. 19:22 Victory / Maumee arrived to load limestone.

Sandusky: Manitoulin departed with coal for Sault Ste. Marie at 05:29.
Cleveland: John J. Boland unloaded at the Bulk Terminal, then loaded a shuttle for Cliffs. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder left at 00:37 for Erie. Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson arrived at 00:43, unloaded and left for Meldrum Bay at 16:40. Sea Eagle II/St.Marys Cement II arrived at 07:53 and went to the Jefferson St. terminal to unload. Karen Andrie/Endeavor arrived at 11:21. American Courage arrived from Erie at 19:07 to begin a series of shuttles for Cliffs.
Fairport Harbor: Manitowoc arrived from Port Inland at 12:04 to unload at Osborne.
Ashtabula: The saltie Johanna G arrived at 18:21.
Erie: American Courage arrived at 04:33, unloaded and departed for Cleveland at 12:06. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived from Cleveland at 10:02.
Nanticoke: Algoma Hansa departes for Tracy at 00:14. Algocanada was joined by fleetmate Algocanada at Imperial Oil. Algosea Algoma Niagara left for Quebec at 18:01. Atlantic Huron pulled up anchor and is headed to Two Harbors. Harvest Spirit arrived at Stelco at 19:59.
