Duluth Entry: Wilfred Sykes arrived at 21:21 (CST) Friday night to unload limestone at Graymont. Mesabi Miner arrived at 13:14 Saturday afternoon to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Wilfred Sykes departed at 14:36 with sinter feed for Burns Harbor. Arneborg arrived at 20:08 to load beet pulp pellets at Gavilon. Joseph L. Block arrived at 21:00 to unload limestone at CN#6. Mesabi Miner departed at 08:43 Sunday morning with iron ore pellets for Indiana Harbor. As of Sunday night, Joseph L. Block was unloading at CN#6. James R. Barker is expected Monday mid-morning to load low sulfur coal at SMET. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected late evening to also load low sulfur coal at SMET.
Superior Entry: Frontenac arrived at 07:02 (CST) Saturday morning to load at BNSF. Samuel de Champlain departed at 15:44 empty for Alpena with Innovation. Frontenac departed at 16:17 with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. CSL Tadoussac arrived at 16:37 to load at BNSF; they departed at 03:55 Sunday morning with iron ore pellets also for Nanticoke. Algoma Discovery arrived at 04:23 to load at BNSF; they departed at 19:33 with iron ore pellets for Hamilton. As of Sunday night, Arneborg was loading at Gavilon. G3 Marquis is expected late Sunday night to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. Stewart J. Cort is expected Monday mid-morning to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Due Two Harbors on 9/27 is the Edgar B. Speer and also the Oakglen. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the departure of the Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader on 9/26 at 10:25. Arriving Silver Bay on 9/26 at 10:50 was the American Century. There is no traffic scheduled for Silver Bay on 9/27.
Thunder Bay, ON
Saturday; 17:12 Ojibway arrived at the Richardson Main Terminal to load wheat and departed at 15:49 for Sorel.
Houghton-Hancock
Algoma Conveyor arrived Sunday evening to unload road salt.
St. Marys River
Upbound traffic Sunday included Oakglen, Gardno, Michipcoten (coal for Algoma), Stewart J. Cort, Edwin H. Gott and Burns Harbor. The only downbound vessel was Wilfred Sykes, at the locks at 9 p.m., although Algoma Mariner was downbound earlier in the evening but she went to Algoma Steel. Radcliffe R. Latimer remained at the Algoma Export Dock, with Greenwing anchored off Brimley waiting to return to the dock after the Latimer is finished.
Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix: Saturday; 20:49 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Challenger arrived to load cement products Sunday; 0:17 Olive L Moore / Menominee arrived at the St Marys Cement plant to unload. 6:26 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Challenger departed down bound on Lake Michigan. 16:10 Olive L Moore / Menominee departed for Stoneport.
Port Inland:: Saturday; 20:43 Manitowoc departed for Fairport. 17:40 Calumet arrived to load limestone.
Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Arthur M. Anderson departed the Calumet River shortly before 9:00 AM.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Lee A. Tregurtha completed unloading at Cleveland Cliffs and departed Sunday afternoon. Walter J. McCarthy, Jr. left her anchorage and took the Tregurtha’s place at the dock. Irma departed overnight for Milwaukee. Federal Nagara and Ijzerborg remained in port on Sunday.

Owen Sound: Saturday; 23:41 Saginaw arrived to unload grain at the Great Lakes Elevator .
Meldrum Bay: Saturday; 23:59 Cuyahoga departed for Sombra.
Bruce Mines: Sunday; 12:57 Algoma Buffalo arrived to load trap rock.
Cheboygan: The tug Albert and tanker barge Margaret arrived at the US Oil Co. terminal to unload petroleum products
Calcite: Saturday; 19:29 John G Munson arrived to load limestone.Sunday; 13:04 John G Munson departed for Detroit. 16:59 Defiance / Ashtabula departed for Duluth Superior. 17:00 H Lee White arrived to load limestone.
Stoneport: Saturday; 23:26 Kaye E Barker departed for Marquette.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Compass departed 1 am Sunday upbound for Green Bay with salt. Algoma Innovator arrived 10.17 pm Saturday loading at Compass Minerals. Innovator’s 16 th appearance here for salt this season.
Lake Erie Ports for Sunday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived late Saturday night and loaded stone for Cleveland.
Sandusky: Manitoulin arrived to load coal at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland: After S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader unloaded at the Bulk Terminal, American Integrity arrived to unload UTAC pellets. Once she was empty and gone, John J. Boland came in to unload scrubber stone. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder brought in stone from Marblehead for RiverDock. Herbert C. Jackson departed for Detroit.
Ashtabula: Robert S. Pierson left for Clarkson.
Nanticoke: Algocanada departed for Sault Ste. Marie Algosea is at anchor off of Port Dover and Algoma Hansa is at Imperial Oil. Algoma Niagara is at Stelco. Also anchored off of Port Dover is Atlantic Huron.

Photos on social media Sunday appeared to show the saltie Ocean Castle with her stern backed over the dock.
