Southern Lake Michigan Ports – Andrew Meyer
Chicago, IL: Buffington Harbor is expecting the American Mariner and the Dirk S. VanEnkevort, both vessels closing in on the port.
Indiana Harbor, IN: Calumet departed Indiana Harbor at 0453, showing a destination of Alpena. No traffic is scheduled via MarineTraffic.
Gary, IN: Edwin H. Gott made a late night departure on September 2nd, heading back north for her weekly load for the mills at Gary Works. Great Republic arrived at 1121 on September 3. Edgar B. Speer is due on September 4 in the morning.
Burns Harbor, IN: The Pathfinder and Dorothy Ann made port at 1632. A fairly infrequent arrival, the pair came from Cleveland. The Herbert C. Jackson is due in port as well, another less than frequent caller at the port. Local gal Burns Harbor is also due in the area with her weekly load from BN5 Superior. Both vessels are expected to arrive on September 5.
Drummond Island, MI – Andrew Meyer
Cuyahoga departed Drummond Island at 0157 on September 3, bound for Sarnia.
Calcite, MI – Andrew Meyer
Philip R. Clarke made her departure at the turn of the day on September 3, and should be the last traffic for the weekend.
Port Inland, MI – Andrew Meyer
John J. Boland departed at 0658 on September 3. She’d be replaced by the slightly sleeker Saginaw at 1401. The Wilfred Sykes is expected later on the 3rd.
Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Toledo, OH: American Spirit arrived at TORCO at 01:35, unloaded and left at 16:09. Wilf Seymour/Alouette Spirit left for Detroit at 03:19 and Herbert C. Jackson departed for Burns Harbor at 03:39. Prentiss Brown/St. Marys Challenger arrived at 12:45 to unload cement.
Marblehead, OH: Leonard M/Huron Spirit arrived at 02:45, loaded stone and departed at 09:06.
Sandusky, OH: Florence Spirit is under the loader. Kaye E. Barker arrived at 21:30 and took a berth behind Florence Spirit.
Cleveland, OH: Mark W. Barker departed at 18:32 with salt for Superior, WI. American Courage is on the shuttles.
Nanticoke, ON: Algoma Conveyor left for Detroit. Algoma Hansa is at Imperial Oil and Algoscotia remains at anchor.
